Everything was clean, and all the staff was so nice. Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. Very quiet and incredibly beautiful place. The hotel territory is a huge garden with paved paths and only 11 bungalow rooms. Everything is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. There’s a nice restaurant opened for breakfast and dinner. During the day the hotel can organize a horseback riding or an ATV experience. A definite recommendation!

It was actually a re-foresting place, they did such a good job. The cabins beautiful, the kitchen excellent and everyone there very nice and welcoming. We heard a lot about the place while there, so interesting. This place has so much heart. We absolutely recommend the night tour. Saw so many different species of frogs.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We loved it! The hotel was super beautiful, clean, and well-organized. The variety of board games was great because we had so much fun, as well as with the ping-pong table and foosball they have. The size of the room was perfect too. We had an amazing vacation!

The grounds were amazing! Beautiful gardens, lots of colourful birds with a spectacular backdrop of the volcano.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stay and I’ve stayed in a lot. The harmony between nature and the construction of the hotel is mind blowing. This is an absolutely beautiful property, with amazing thermal pools, great views from everywhere. The sound of the birds is glorious. This hotel breaths peace, harmony and love for nature.

Set in lush tropical gardens, at the foot of Costa Rica’s Arenal the Volcano Lodge, Hotel & Thermal Experience offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi zone. Air-conditioned rooms have a terrace. Breakfast was exceptionally good. The food at the restaurant was also good and affordable. The hot springs are in good condition and surrounded by nature. The restaurant and pool have a nice view of the volcano, but not from the room though.
