I am as very impressed with the attention to detail and how fully setup my suite was. I stayed in the deluxe suite with sea views. It was outstanding! Each year I stay in over approximately 80 different hotels and this was one of the best ! Hence I highly recommend it. To the extent, that I actually changed a busy future itinerary, so that I could stay an extra night ! Can't remember the last time I did that ! Eva and the team who run the lodge were also exceptional. Don't look anywhere else , stay here and if possible in this Deluxe Suite, but the other rooms also looked excellent ! The pools ( yes two of them), and the surrounding courtyard is a great place to relax. This is where I ate the most delicious breakfasts, including fresh natural juices. Also, the lodge was so peaceful & quiet, yet only a short stroll to the busy main beach street for restaurants & bars. Enjoy !

La gérante qui parlait français et qui s'est proposée de nous faire visiter le village d'Agua Blanca. Nous tenons à la remercier pour toute son aide et pour sa grande gentillesse.

There are alot of places to stay around the world, and most of them are in it for the money - but not this one. I had no real desire to go to Las Tunas, but after backpacking around Ecuador and Peru for a while, all of the favorite people I met on the road seemed to have the exact same recommendation: Go to Onda Hostel. So I texted the hostel owners on Whatsapp, where they proceeded to be somehow genuinely interested in answering my millions of questions over text before I arrived, arranging for transport, and even picking me up a massive guanabana just because I casually mentioned once I'd like to try it. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is cool, and the coffee is endless, but it's truly the people that make this place great. The owners are passionate about building a community and they instill that same stoke in their volunteers. If you're looking to stay in a place with some atmosphere, there is none greater in the Americas. I booked at this hostel for two days and stayed on for weeks, only leaving because I had to. To my new friends that I've made at Las Tunas - Thank you, and I'll be back soon!
