The room was very spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return if we were to be in this area again. Good generous continental breakfast with fresh Orange juice, fresh coffeecheese and cured meats, village bread and some bakery items. The hosts Manuel and Mikaela are really gracious and helpful with all requests and inquires. Room was spacious and clean. Dinner was 3 course and excellent - Octopus (pulpo) is highly recommended.

The manager happily attended to a couple of requests (extra towels) and was extremely helpful with information about the area and suggestions for activities.

Santi's orange marmalade was delicious, and his insights into local culture and personalities was very enthusiastic and well-informed. The location of the Casa was perfect, on a quiet street right in the centre of the village, just a step away from the main square. We can heartily recommend the Restaurante Espana, a welcoming family-run place just 3 doors up the street.

You can drive to the Portuguese border and the Douro International Nature Reserve in just 3 minutes from the hotel. The beautiful city of Salamanca is around a 90-minute drive away. The location is absolutely perfect, The hospitality from the owners was so great, You can see their passion for hosting and welcome to their little kingdom, This place is a magical place, and the value for money is so high, I really recommend visiting this hotel even if you need to go out of your planned route. One of my best experiences
