Hôtel de Biencourt is located in Azay-le-Rideau, in the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine. Beautiful restore location with great places to eat nearby. Staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a functional decor. They offer a free Wifi access. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, served us local delicacies and let us just linger with a glass of wine overlooking the beautiful garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location super convenient to the medieval city.

The hotel was founded in 1880 and offers a warm welcome and traditional charm. I didn't expect such a good place. From the street, the hotel looks quite ordinary. From the courtyard, however, it's a low-rise complex with a very atmospheric atmosphere. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is large and has a shower. An additional advantage is the electric heater with electronic drying and rapid heating programs. The room doesn't have a refrigerator, as described, but there is a room with a refrigerator, where everyone has their own space – a very nice feature. Cold, hot, and sparkling water are available free of charge – there's a dispenser from which you can refill as needed. Plates, glasses, and cutlery are also provided if you want to make yourself something to eat. You can also order breakfast. Bikes are available for rent – both electric and classic. There's also a charging station for cars (AC). Of course, there's also a heated outdoor pool – it's not very large, but sufficient. The staff is very helpful and friendly – their dedication is evident. This place is highly recommended.

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment has family rooms. We ordered breakfast and it was excellent and plentiful. The host was very nice and helpful.
