Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This made the short break we had even more enjoyable. The breakfasts were out of this world and once again the staff were incredibly accommodating without being intrusive and made our stay a very memorable one for all the rights reasons.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Beautifully decorated. The hotel had recently been updated and it was very nicely done. Extremely helpful staff members;

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Nice staff, comfortable bed, dog friendly, excellent breakfast. Thanks for the dog towels :)

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Great breakfast, comfy bed, lovely home, nice touch with coffee & cake on our arrival sitting in their lounge overlooking the mountains - could not fault the place - staff excellent - highly recommend

Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Please call the hotel prior to booking to confirm if there are any events taking place at the hotel during your required dates as there may be loud music until 12am. Absolutely beautiful location grounds and hotel.
