We arrived late-ish (8pm) and were pleasantly surprised that dinner was served (on a Thursday) until 9pm. Everyone who worked there and was a patron were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and had to leave early, but the room was clean and comfortable and loved the charm of the pub next to the church.

The room and bathroom we stayed in were huge! The bed was comfortable and we loved that the sheets smelt home-y rather than the run of the mill hotel smell. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The puppies and kitties were a pleasant surprise for us and made our stay even better. The location was perfect for us and we spent a couple of days in Hay on Wye.
