Located at the Vikos Gorge trailhead, this is a great place to explore the nature of Zagori. Very comfortable, very hospitable staff, scrumptious breakfast. Katarina is so friendly and a wonderful cook. Waking up to the smell of her fried peppers and zucchini fritters was lovely. The village is tiny, 15-20 houses, however two taverns serve good food.

The location is set in a lovely village with incredible views from every direction. It’s walking distance to a few very good restaurants, as well as to Monodendri, where the hike to Vikos Gorge (and other hikes) starts from. It’s very clean and the owner, Petros, is very welcoming and exceptionally accommodating. His daughter Sofia, helps with the management of the guesthouse and is truly amazing, assisting with all my queries. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the special memories I take home

Truly superb I really enjoyed my stay. So will you.. Top tip on how to get there by car. When you arrive at.monodendri, take the small fork to the right. Drive about 1km. The road gets a bit narrower and then turns to cobblestones. After a slight incline about 100 metres, there are two large car parks. You cant drive closer to the hotel
