Non diver & avid snorkeler here. You could snorkel the beautiful reef for a few days and not get bored. Few turtles and one baby shark spotted. Be mindful of the currents. The property has an outdoor dining area. Super friendly staff and some of the tastiest food ever in Indo. We didn’t do any of the multitude choices of snorkeling or dive trips because we had just done a liveaboard. Will, the director, very accommodating and helpful. There is a reef of sorts out front with nice big fish, some surviving coral. People have spotted turtles and manta but I wasn’t lucky. Lots of beaches fringing the island and another couple walked and snorkelled their way half way around. There is a small shop selling beer and biscuits. So beautiful!

The holiday home specialises in an Asian and vegetarian breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. Beautiful secluded location at the entrance to Gam Bay. The food was great, host was very friendly providing excellent service, and my room was clean. There are many opportunities for daily adventures or simply relax at the home stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery, occasionally spotting a sea turtle, or black tip reef shark swimming by. Each night came with a beautiful sunset and the sound of birds roosting in the forest. If you want to spend some quality time away from busier home stays in the pristine nature of Raja Ampat this is a great choice!

The coral reef just in front of the houses is vibrant and full of marine life, and the beach is always kept spotless. The entire family helps run the homestay, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy captivating live music played on handmade instruments and take part in thoughtfully organized day trips for birdwatching, waterfall hikes, and more—all with pristine rainforest just steps from their doorstep.

Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!
