Our host, Fabrizio, was very helpful communicating with us before we our visit, helping us out when we arrived with recommendations and reservations, and staying in touch throughout our stay. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The location (on the Via Francigena) was ideal.

The location is great, the house was big and with everything we could think about, the owner was very nice

Rosso Robino is an exquisite place with view on the Lake, one of our best stays during our trip in Italy. The decoration is cute but with taste, ideal for a couple. Marta is a nice town, well connected to enjoy good times around the lake. The apartment and the whole inner building is brand new, recently renovated, whereas the exterior is ancient with charm. You can park cheaply in front of the building (6 eur a day) or freely a bit further. The apartment could be well heated if necessary (it was rather cold at night outside), the shower is hot and with strong pressure, the kitchen is large and convenient, there are two connected TVs.

This recently renovated apartment is located 29 km from Civita di Bagnoregio and 37 km from Bomarzo - The Monster Park. The property is soundproof and is located 26 km from Villa Lante al Gianicolo. Casa Maddalena was our FAVORITE place we stayed on our 2 week honeymoon in Italy. What a gem! Sparklingly clean, super quiet, well appointed with everything we could need, and a sweet view of the lake and passersby on the sidewalk below. I loved the blackout curtains and slept sooo well here. Marta feels extremely safe and this building was very nicely maintained. As an American who aspires to speak Italian more fluently, I loved Marta and its local feel. I don't think I heard any English spoken :) A peaceful sanctuary after a day of driving on our road trip. We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed even more. We especially loved the proximity to all of Marta's restaurants, and the little gelateria down below and Il Salotto for morning cappuccinos. Oh and the fruit and veg shop across the street! Complete perfection.

Bed was comfortable and available temperature control. Wonderful stay.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Villa Paladini provides accommodation with an infinity pool and free WiFi. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. A magical place. Wonderful owner and her staff. I highly recommend it.

CASA VACANZE ANTICA VOLSINII features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Bolsena, 20 km from Duomo Orvieto. This recently renovated holiday home is located 15 km from Civita di Bagnoregio and 36 km from Villa Lante. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The host was amazing!! The view is spectacular and it’s a nice relaxing place. Although it is about a 9 minute walk into the old town. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Gianfranco is an amazing person. After we departed and were well into the forest walking the Via Francigena our friend fell and twisted his ankle. I sent Gianfranco a what’s app message and he contacted a friend, Francesco, to come meet us and take our friend to the next town. This is week above and beyond!!!

The property is set 19 km from Civita di Bagnoregio, 20 km from Villa Lante and 32 km from Bomarzo - The Monster Park. Some rooms at the property have a patio with a garden view. A true find in this otherwise very expensive area. Close to town, about 10min walk or very short ride. Hosts are quite amazing and ammenities perfect. There is even a simple breakfast awailable, coffee and juice. With a car, its a great place to chill out after exploring the lake and areas around. And Bolena Lake and its lakeside towns is absolutely gorgeous, without being run over by the crowds. A true find.
