Quiet, cozy, traditional Japanese style, I was so surprised when I checked in. Even though the city doesn’t offer too much to see, this house is definitely a gem for me on this trip! (And the breakfast is SO AMAZING! )

Le Biwako Hanakaido dispose de bains thermaux intérieurs et extérieurs, de 3 restaurants et de chambres avec balcon et vue sur le lac Biwako. The staff were absolutely amazing and the facility is beautiful. We had a great time enjoying the Onsen, delicious food, and seeing the nearby temples.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. It is a wonderful and relaxing environment and allows you to enjoy the best onsen experience. The hotel staff organised the shuttle bus for us even though it passed 6pm to ensure we made it to our dinner reservation. The food provided was 10/10, possibly one of the best meals we had in Japan ! And I forgot an item when I left the hotel, the staff just mailed it to my next hotel within the next day. Will definitely come back!

L’établissement Yumotokan vous accueille à Ōtsu, à respectivement 16 km et 17 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Temple Enryaku-ji et Mont Hiei. The hotel was beautiful and I enjoyed the four different onsens in there. A few of the onsens (indoor) were a little on the older side, but the outdoor rock pool was spectacular. The facilities were really great. Dinner was really high quality food, although I felt a bit rushed. The breakfast buffet was spectacular.

The place ia awesome. Very big and comfortable, got everything you need. The facility is so new and very well maintained, it's way way way beyond my expectation. It's like moving to a brand new house, and everything is all setup and ready for you.
