A buffet breakfast is available at the accommodation. This was a very positive experience. The room (end of the corridor) was plenty big enough for the two of us, allowing us to pack the three suitcases we had before sending them to the airport. Laundry facilities were clever, as you could see on your TV when a machine was available. Cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful - one day we asked for extra water as we were thirsty, and the lady remembered the following day as well. Reception team were professional but still friendly - you always get a better vibe in Tohoku in comparison to Kanto, in my opinion. Also, there was a microwave available near our room, which enabled us to cook proper meals when we weren't eating out. The bathroom was really nice, too - unusually spacious.

This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. The accommodation provides a sauna, spa centre, restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. I stayed in one of the cleanest hotel the I ever stay. It's Japanese style hotel with very nice Onsen. This is my first experience that we have to removes our shoes when we enter the hotel.The hotel location quit near with Sendai train station and city center where we were very easy to looking for meal and shopping

Sendai Museum is a 15-minute train ride from Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. Sendai Castle and Zuihoden are a 20-minute drive from the property, while Sakunami Hot Spring is located an hour away by car. Room and the bathroom were great. Hotel is in the JR station, hence a very convenient location with all the shops around.

Set in Ishinomaki, within 37 km of Shiogama Shrine and 49 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Tama Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Featuring free bikes, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel has family rooms. I ended up checking in close to 10, owner was understanding about the delay. Showed me around hotel- cafe nextdoor open until 1am has 10+ cats to pat! There’s bicycles to use and free wine too. If you’re going to cat island next morning owner will drive you to ferry port and pick you up after the ferry ride/drop you off at ishinomaki station. Also took us to a bakery where he bought us each a bread for lunch. Highly recommend

Situated in Matsushima in the Miyagi region with Entsuin Temple nearby, Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse features accommodation with free private parking. Sendai Toshogu is 21 km away and Rakuten Seimei Park Miyagi is 22 km from the guest house. The location was excellent. Very close to the main sights and train stations. The host was very sociable and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We had a lovely evening chatting to him and other guests and he recommended a local bakery and cafe which were both superb. He also arranged transport to the station on departure (too much luggage!).

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can refresh in the public hot-spring baths and enjoy traditional multi-course meals in their rooms. A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. The view from the rooms is amazing. The best is the private Onsen with view to the bay, absolutely stunning. The staff is superattentive and they axplain everything in english. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and chilling. Brekkie is very good and varies fron day to day. Parkibg is in front of the hotel or 100m on a hotel parking

Located just 4.5 km from Sendai City Community Support Center, Sendai Guest House UMEBACHI provides accommodation in Sendai with access to a terrace, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Featuring a garden, the 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!
