Perfect location within close proximity to the station, food options all around. The room was luxurious. The hotel's photos don't really do it much justice! It looks and feels way better than some brand name five star hotels I've been in.

Set in Ishinomaki, within 37 km of Shiogama Shrine and 49 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Tama Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Featuring free bikes, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel has family rooms. We loved everything about our stay at Tama Hotel. We came there in order to visit Tashirojima, Cat island. The hotel itself has a cat patio with many very cute and well-taken care of cats. Tama, Millefeuille, Maron, Noritama, Ansu, Cinnamon, Caramel, Suri, Noir, Tail, Kiwi, Marble, 2nd, Konosuke. Paradise for serious cat lovers and cat freaks. The place has cat themed decorations everywhere which we loved. The owners are incredibly kind and made everything to make our stay the best possible. We used translator apps for communication and it worked great. They gave us a lot of good advice for food and for the visits we could do in the Miyagi area. They kindly drove us to the ferry, helped us with the tickets and picked us up, drove us back to the train station when we left. Plus they cooked absolutely delicious breakfast and dinner for us. We felt very well taken care of. Unforgettable hospitality experience we can only highly recommend. Thank you Tama Hotel!

Situated in Matsushima in the Miyagi region with Entsuin Temple nearby, Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse features accommodation with free private parking. The owner is incredibly kind, and we really enjoyed our daily conversations with him before and after exploring Matsushima. The facilities were clean and pleasant, and the guest rooms are located on the first floor, while he and his wife live downstairs. The location was perfect, and the owner was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and other tips. A special thanks goes to him and his wife on our last day, when we had to be evacuated due to a tsunami warning. They took care of us and brought us to safety further inland. They made sure we stayed informed, drove us around to find food, and helped us find a place to sleep for the night. This experience truly reflects their warm hospitality. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Japan. (If you are into music i believe you will enjoy seeing his record collection) crazy 😁

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can refresh in the public hot-spring baths and enjoy traditional multi-course meals in their rooms. A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. The view the room was outstanding! The staff members went above and beyond to help us. My wife has celiac disease and needed special care to be taken with meals and they did an amazing job of providing 2 very large and intricate safe meals each day with no issue.

Located just 4.5 km from Sendai City Community Support Center, Sendai Guest House UMEBACHI provides accommodation in Sendai with access to a terrace, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. It's a great place to meet people and the owners are very friendly.
