The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Staff helpful and informative responding with plenty eating and drinking options. Check in and out can be fully electronic, while staff in place during reasonable hours.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a seasonal outdoor pool. The property was perfect. It was quite remote which we enjoyed after coming from the business of the city. The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.

We’ve been travelling for 25 days in Japan with our family of 4 and this has been our best experience. We arrived after riding our bikes all day and were greeted by the hosts with hot orange juice, tips on where to get food and even got a lift to get take out as they informed us the best restaurants might be closing soon. Our kids even got a present in the morning. Everything in the room is thought out - the bunk beds are bigger than normal with power outlets. There are Imabari towels. The showerhead is glorious. There is a lot more space then the pictures give away and you wake up with amazing sea view. If you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido or are looking for a place near the beach - stay here.
