The bus from Johanna station stops 20 meter from the house, same stop to go to the villages, so you dont need a car to visit this place. Very beautifully renovated house with old elements and modern comfort. Super friendly owner. Nice tofushop, Japanese bakery and small supermarket closeby. Also very Nice to scroll around the house. Been 4 times to Japan and would absolutely recommend to stay here!

I usually sleep in a tent or on a bench at a roadside station. But this time, I decided to stay in this Guesthouse Iwase to rest after my hike to Mt. Tsuguri-dake. I'm very pleased that I stayed in this wonderful place. The guesthouse owner is very friendly and caring. Right from the beginning, he showed and told me everything. The guesthouse has a very comfortable living room, a very clean shower, and a quiet shared room with 4 beds. The air conditioning prevents me from experiencing the heat outside. Due to the rain, the guesthouse owner offered to store my bicycle at the entrance, for which I am very grateful. I was able to ride the bicycle available for rent. The bicycle very comfortable and good. I rode to the center of Toyama to see the local park and sat at Starbucks. In the evening, in the living room, we sat down with the guesthouse owner and other guests, sharing our impressions of the day spent. I highly recommend this guesthouse. P.s. I also liked the house. It's in a Japanese style with european elements (the room for four people).

We came and immidietly the hosts gave us tea, amazing couple with a cute kid, they gave us tips about what to do at night and they have a good english!

She made our stay extremely comfortable, and the futons were the most comfortable we had ever slept on!!! Also we were going to a local onsen and she provided us with coupons! We were very pleased! I highly recommend this accommodation for its location, price and hospitality!

富山県の高岡市にある大仏旅館は庭を提供しており、金沢城まで48km、兼六園まで48kmです。2つ星の旅館で、無料レンタル自転車、エアコン付きのお部屋（無料WiFi、共用バスルーム付）を提供しています。この旅館から金沢駅まで47km、高岡古城公園動物園まで徒歩8分です。... Very kind people running the ryokan. I accidently left an umbrella that I borrowed from them at the nearby store, and the lady said don't worry about it and that she'll get it. It was very genuine. Was only a few other people staying at the time I was there, so it was very quiet. And the bathhouse was a very relaxing and unique experience. Many amenities are surprisingly provided as well, and as soon as I checked in the gentleman provided me hot tea. Was very good value for the money... I just wish there was more to do in Takaoka, but there's some decent day trips you can take from there. Would without a doubt stay there again if I went to Takaoka.

My stay at Yanafu was truly delightful. The Japanese house, with its spacious 120 m², is very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a natural and sustainable style. Bright, full of light, and featuring restored wood details, it also has a vintage HiFi stereo system that sounds absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.
