They were amazing and went above and beyond. My 5 year old son loved them and it takes him ages to warm to people. They played with him loads and showed him all around. He was so sad to leave them. The food was also amazing.

Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

The owner is a great bloke too — kind, genuine, and always ready to help with tips, directions, or just a good chat. If you want a stay in Ella that feels authentic, welcoming, and beautifully set in nature without being far from the action, Wood Palace is the perfect choice. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

If you are wanting to experience peaceful oasis in Ella, this is the place. The design of this unique space hits all the marks in an off the beaten path stay. A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️
