The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and Daniel, the owner, was wonderful to talk to.

Everything about the property was beautiful and the service excellent. Food was excellent.

Situated in Masaya, 8.5 km from Mirador de Catarina, Madre Casa provides accommodation with a hot tub, a fitness room and an open-air bath. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was great, even so my Spanish ain’t great the host was super friendly and like to talk and help wherever he could. The house is amazing, it’s a family house, spacious and you feel like being a friend at someone’s home and not stranger in a hotel!

La Casa de Leo - Hostal, Restaurante y Artesania local is located in San Juan de Oriente, 1.9 km from Mirador de Catarina and 14 km from Volcan Mombacho. The hostel has a terrace and mountain views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

An à la carte breakfast is available at the accommodation. Breakfasts made by Yanet were excellent and different each day with fruits, eggs, rice and beans (gallo pinto) and coffee. The core family (Hébert, Yanet and their son Lester) with whom I dealt with everyday are truly genuine people, they have helped me 200% with research on land/houses in that area (my goal when I visited Nicaragua), We had excellent conversations, like I never had in other Latin countries, all in all if you want to understand this amazing country more and you speak Spanish, you will learn a lot. Also, members of the family are master potters, they have a small studio downstairs where you can buy their work and also, very recently, take a ceramics course on site. Don't forget to ask them who is 'Leo'

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. We only stayed one night at Le Table de Apoyo and it was one of the best experiences we had in Nicaragua so far. Françoise and Renaud are great hosts, they serve delicious food and will give recommendations on places to see in the area. We recommend their breakfast and their one dish dinners. Would definitely go back

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and garden. Everything! The decor, the vibrant colours, I felt the hard work and soul that had been put into creating this wonderful establishment. Bella is an amazing hostess. Fantastic in communication, and so friendly. I asked if she had any eggs by chance, and she rushed off and came back instantly with 15 eggs for me 😆, a very kind spirit. Thanks again Bella 😊
