Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Thé location was amazing, the water was calm, no wind like the other side of the island. The farm animals were a great perk . The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Everything about Ometepe house was perfect...the friendly staff, the convenient location, the comfortable beds, and that pool was so refreshing. I will definitely be back at some point. It is the perfect lodging to experience Moyogalpa, and the island in general.

Beautiful setting - we stayed in a cabin and Lake Nicaragua was out the front and the volcano, monkeys and horses out the back. Decent road to get in, clean accommodations, free parking, good food at the restaurant and the staff was amazing. They assisted in booking the tour we wanted and helped with directions to other attractions. Carlos was our server at the restaurant and was so kind and helpful. We had a huge disappointment where we originally booked and found this hotel last minute and could not have been happier.

Fantastic accommodations! Large very clean room with a beautiful view of the volcano and garden. Waking up to the sound of the howler monkeys and watching them climb from tree to tree was a highlight. We loved having access to a kitchen to prepare meals. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and arranged a tour to the volcano lookout. Close to great restaurants and other activities in the area. Highly suggest a vehicle to get around to save time to do more activities. The pets are super friendly and appreciated the attention.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Highly responsive to our requests and needs. We stayed during low season, and they opened the restaurant exclusively for us for dinner! The room was very quiet, as the accommodation was in a separate small building. The only sounds were from birds in the morning! The view of Concepcion is also beautiful.

More of a homestay than a hostel, we were given a warm welcome. Odelva booked a brilliant kayak tour for us and we rented a scooter through her too. She took care of everything. Our room was cleaned daily and after two nights our linen and towels were changed. There's a lovely common area with hammocks in the shade. The hostel is a short walk from a few great comerdores too. This felt like a proper holiday. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was our favourite place to stay in Nicaragua. It was so good we actually returned to Ometepe for an extra 5 nights of pure relaxation! We are backpacking around Central America and loved how homely this accommodation was. The rooms are so nice, clean and excellent value. The grounds are maintained beautifully and there is a lovely pool to rest by, perfect after climbing Volcan Concepcion. The staff are so helpful and friendly. WiFi is also perfect for a bit of remote working!

The best accommodation we have had in Central America. Great central location on the island, the rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Has to have the best view on the island for enjoying breakfast and a drink! But the true highlight was the staff, I didn’t catch the name of the man on reception but he made our experience. He helped us organise ATV rental for pick up at the port, had so many suggestions of activities on the island and was so so friendly, all of the staff were so friendly and so happy. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

In 5 months of traveling by far the most beautiful accomodation. Amazing garden, clean pool, spacious rooms and really good food! We ended up staying for 9 nights and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and short distance to the city.

beautiful property. We had the volcano view cabin. The cafe/kitchen area was cozy and inviting. All the staff were extremely helpful. Megan was a fantastic hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. This, like most accommodations in Nicaragua, doesn’t have hot water so be prepared. it’s so warm outside, the cool shower is almost always welcome!
