Hotel Miss Blanche is a boutique hotel in the centre of Groningen. The hotel offers 62 individually appointed rooms, studios and apartments. Ranging from comfortable Standard rooms to an exclusive Executive Suite. We stayed on the ground floor in a 60 m² apartment that felt like a house – fully equipped kitchen, perfect for a big family. The location is central, daily cleaning was great, and the staff solved issues very well (late check-in, invoices adapted to our needs). The apartment “3-1” was really excellent.

The modern rooms at Prinsenhof include a seating area with a flat-screen TV. A minibar with complimentary drinks and snacks and an Nespresso machine are in each. Some have wooden-beamed ceilings, while others offer views of the garden or Martini Tower. We really appreciated the courtesy of the staff, the location of the hotel and the beautiful garden.

Housed in a building dating from 19th century, this bed and breakfast is 18 km from Martini Tower and 3.4 km from Noord Nederlandse Golf. When staying at the bed and breakfast, guests can use private entrance. Great and quiet neighborhood and service. Ideal for a few days to relax and have long walks in beautiful nature. Close to big city for events - we were there for Davis Cup.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Zuidbroek Station is 10 km away and Kropswolde Station is 10 km from the bed and breakfast. A great place to stay that is off the beaten path, yet has easy access to the main roadways. The check in was easy as the host met us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The parking was plentiful and parking in front, we could see the car from the room. The security was good as the town was fairly small and there was not a lot of traffic on the road out front. You enter in a hallway with rooms on the left and the breakfast room on the right. The breakfast room is nice with big picnic-style tables and a refrigerator that is also for the using. The host has also included some niceties, like soda and wine that you may purchase in the breakfast room. If you wanted to get some takeaway and bring it back, this would be a nice, quiet and roomy place for a meal. The bed was nice and comfortable and it has a TV, but we didn’t use it. The room also had a love seat and a table. The shades close easily and the windows open if you need some more air in the room. The bedding was O.K. and there were side tables with plugs on both sides. The bathroom was nice, clean and spacious and the shower was great. The host even included some nice shampoo and soap. The surroundings are nice as the property is very well kept and the outdoor space is very comfortable. I would recommend a stay here, especially if you want a great, out-of-the-way place for a good night’s sleep.

Ark van Thesinge is situated in Thesinge and has a heated pool and garden views. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and free shuttle service. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everything was great, the environment, the rooms, the small details in the bathroom. Our hosts were really nice and fixed us a great breakfast . We spent unfortunately only one night on our way to Amsterdam but could've spent more days cycling/walking around Thesinge and Groningen which is only 5 km away.

Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed? During your stay if you don't want to feel like a client but feel like an old friend, then this is your place.
