Our stay at this boutique hotel on Isla Colón was absolute perfection. Nestled between the jungle and the sea, right by the gorgeous Playa Bluff (not ideal for swimming but stunning nonetheless), the setting is pure paradise. With only 10 rooms, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate vibe. Our spacious room featured a large, comfortable bed and a private balcony — waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The service was excellent — the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious, making it tempting to dine in often. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Bocas Town, so I’d recommend having a taxi contact handy. One of our highlights was renting ATVs to explore the island — an amazing way to see more of the area (including the incredible beach “La piscina”) All in all, a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, and a bit of luxury, this place is a hidden gem.

Villa Bahia is ideally located right on Saigon bay and the views and sunsets are stunning. David is an excellent host who makes your stay very comfortable while being a wealth of information about what is available in the area. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the shower warm. Our 3 day stay here was one of the best we had in central america and I would recommend staying here

Very clean and attentive staff. Loved the free equipment rentals like bikes, paddles, and kayaks. I would have liked to see more bike sizes for smaller women available since biking around the island is very useful.

Wonderful place, if you are looking for peace and nature, this is where you should stay. Rooms are very comfortable, the hosts are amazing, breakfast and dinner were also delicious. Dogs are very friendly and cute. 15 minutes boat from Bocas Del Toro downtown.
