The staff are incredibly attentive and certainly go above and beyond! Every time you enter or exit the hotel, all the staff know you by name and are so welcoming. Nilo, the hotel’s manager, personally took us on a run around Lio Beach with some of the team. Val and Cjay were standing-out staff for us and catered for our every need. The hotel is ideally located a short walk away from the centre of El Nido - close enough for a 5 minute walk but far enough to be away from the noise in the evening. The hotel is superbly maintained and the rooms are spacious and modern. There is also a decent gym over the road as a part of the hotel that had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the hostel. I just loved the Happiness hostel! The staff is super nice and friendly, ready to help you, but also to chat and play games. There is an activity taking place every night. I also enjoyed the common area with swing and many places to chill, but you’re also able to work there. It’s in the very heart of el Nido, close to the beach where all the boat trips leave.

Rooms include a balcony with inner courtyard views. Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were super warm and accommodating, always making me feel at home. Airport pick-up was a big plus and having a motorcycle ready made getting around so easy. Even with the glamping-style setup, the room had a good working AC and reliable internet, which made it extra comfortable. And the breakfast—wow, the servings were really generous. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for comfort and genuine hospitality.
