Superb family-run accommodation, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location was stunning right in front of the river and mountains. Definitely will repeat if I go back to Slovenia!

Located on a main road but still lovely and quiet with the sound of a waterfall nearby. Parking available opposite the accommodation. River with a private man made rock pool if you’re keen for a cold swim. Breakfast 12 euros per person consisting of cold meats, cheese, fresh baked bread with spreads and strudel delivered to your door in a lovely basket. Great host who provided us with plenty of information and maps of the area. Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

Our hosts, Tomaz and Spela, were wonderful, very hospitable, accommodating about meal times, and informative about hikes in the area. Our chef, Erik, created amazingly delicious and beautifully presented dishes, from soups to main dishes to desserts, for our big group of 10 (a family reunion). The farm house we staying in was very clean and pleasant with beautiful mountain and vegetation views.

Situé à Solčava (Savinjska), l’établissement Mala hiša possède un parking privé gratuit. Stunning location! Close enough to town that we could have resources for activities (bicycle rentals), but still felt like a quiet retreat to disconnect from our phones and enjoy the beauty.

Très bon et copieux petit-déjeuner (avec grande assiette de charcuterie et fromage en autres car buffet) L'emplacement est parfait et le chalet est très agréable. Pas de restaurant dans l'établissement mais un très bon restaurant juste à l'hôtel à côté, en sortant à droite.
