Taxi service is available for good price to discover the island and fo stay on different beaches . The restaurant is perfect too. A few beaches you can reach by walking through other resorts . In Thailand it’s possible to do so. 3 minutes walk to a small beach where the sunset is beautiful and it’s good for snorkeling too. Next to the resort there is a small supermarket too.

Also the accommodation was wonderful as well as the view - both from our room and from the pool. We also liked all the food what we tried and the cocktails too.

Featuring a private beach area, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Some units at the property have a balcony with a city view. Fantastic place, good pricing and super welcoming staff. Great little beach behind the property with very little traffic where you can relax fully leaving all of your worries behind. Checkout was at 12:00 leaving us feeling calm in the morning having all this time to get our things in order before leaving. Thank you all for being so welcoming.

Firstly, the staff are excellent! The bar and restaurant staff in particular were so welcoming and accommodating and just genuinely kind people! They make the Explorar an exceptional place to stay. Also if you are looking to stay in a quieter part of the island where beaches aren't overrun and life feels a bit slower, then this is the location! Lastly the food and drink quality was impressive and the staff are very capable of being accommodating to your needs and preferences!

The accommodation will provide you with a balcony, a fan and a mosquito net. Please note that there is no air-conditioning in the rooms. There is also a deck area with seating. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy a forest view from the room. Staying at riverside cottages was a really cool experience. The accommodation is right in the jungle so it’s good to keep in mind that you will be surrounded by wildlife and insects. This was something I was nervous about but when you just accept that it’s the jungle you really get the most out of it. The room was super comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, mosquitoes nets were good quality, bathroom was perfect. The balcony’s are really cool because if you’re sitting on them you are in the jungle and can hear all the jungle noises. Yes there were geckos and insects in our room but it’s expected and you are protected by the net when you’re sleeping. There was no AC but we found it fine, we were here in May when there was a bit of rain so this might have helped but it was manageable. The restaurant is lovely on site, does everything you need. We went to the local town for dinner one night and there are lots of options available. You can get to the town by the free shuttle bus that runs every three hours or can ask for alternative times for a small charge. We did a night time canoe tour and the overnight lake stay through the hotel and they were brilliant. The overnight lake tour was more than we could have ever expected - this is a must do if you’re visiting. Recommend booking through the hotel to ensure you get a good experience. If you’re looking for a jungle experience this is definitely a great option!
