Sunshine B&B is about a 2-minute walk from Jiu Fen Old Street and an 11-minute walk from Jioufen Gold Mine Museum. Ruifang Railway Station is 11 minutes' drive away. The location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

View from the common room window is unreal overlooking the open sea.

The staff were really nice and accommodating. I left my bags there around 10:30am. Came back around 3pm to rest a little bit. There's no elevator so if you have heavy luggage be aware. But i'm pretty the staff could help. They were so friendly. The second floor is kind of the lounge area where you can eat/drink also where the showers were. The floor with all the capsule beds was nice n cool. I had no issues sleeping, very comfortable. I also recommend this place cause it's in between the two bus stops, hauling your luggage won't be that hard. I saw other tourists who were staying in the old shopping street area but they had to go through all the crowds to get out pulling their luggage against the uneven street/floors. Overall I enjoyed my experience but also again the staff were very helpful and kind.

With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. This 5-star homestay offers private entrance. Very new (only 3 months old!) so everything was in good shape. Free coffee and tea, and a small basket of snacks/instant noodles you’re welcome to take from. The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

The room (deluxe double room with balcony) is clean and spacious, the bathroom is big and it has a separate bathtub. The staff is friendly and helpful.
