Each unit features views of the garden. The tent is functional, with light, plug-in to charge your devices, there is a fan. The tent are really well located, just next to the dive shop. The breakfast was good. And the staff is really nice ! Honestly, if you want to come to Mafia for diving and are on a budget, this is the best option !! And the dive shop is great. Totally recommend !

We just finished our 3 day stay in Mafia and at Mafia Island Bungalows : it was a lovely stay, all-round : beautiful space for the house, comfortable terrace, perfect bedroom (Upendo - very nicely decorated with local flair, loved it), great bathroom… everything fine! The place is overall very quiet as it sits a little away from the road at the entrance of the Marine Park. We did not meet the owners, who where on a trip off the island : however, they took the time to check-in with us every single day, and it was much appreciated. We also would like to adress a great shout out to the staff : Hassan was very available, without being « too present » / just the right balance; and there is an amazing Chef on premises: we loved the breakfasts and even more the diners! The homemade bread and Chapatis, the soups, the mains and the deserts… everything was delicious ! Well done, we whole-heartedly recommend staying with you when visiting Mafia and hope to come again one day ☺️

The rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a desk. What an unexpected gem at the end of our holiday. It only has 3 rooms with amazing view and lovely staff. Our 3 year old daughter loved Ali who was so kind to play we her constantly. We stayed here 3 nights which was perfect because it is very secluded. Perfect for chill and some excursions. Food was lovely too. Thanks all!

Staff is extremely friendly and the dive quipment is brand new! Can't reccomend dive planet enough!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Meremeta Lodge is one of the few places in Mafia Island that has air-conditioning - a must in February. The staff members are all great, and the owner (Meremeta) is very friendly, attentive, available, accommodating and helpful - nothing is too much effort for him; you can ask him anything and he will always answer "it is possible"! Meremeta Lodge is also one of the very few places in Mafia that is owned by a local Mafian, and we recommend that you support local.

Extras include a safety deposit box, free laundry and morning tea or coffee delivered. An amazing little island with outstanding tree house accommodation. Eco tourism at its finest. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Perfect for winding down after doing safari. Definitely worth a visit. The owner has done so much to help the locals which was lovely to see.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We traveled to Mafia Island specifically to see the whale sharks. We went out the first day with a highly rated local tour company and did not see any whale sharks which was unusual. The next day we decided to go out with Hassan, the manager at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge. Hassan was determined and we did in fact see whale sharks!! Hassan took such good care of us. I was so happy to see the whale sharks but I was getting tired after a few swims so I was content to stay in the boat and let my family continue swimming. After resting a bit, Hassan jumped in to see if it was a good view for me. He came back to the boat and let me know it was a great view if I was up to swimming again. I jumped back in and had the very best time! I cannot say enough good things about Hassan and everyone at the Lodge. They are all so kind and helpful. I also highly recommend the massages at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge. Thank you Hassan and everyone at the Lodge.

Beautiful clean bungalows on the beach,great food and amazing helpful staff. We had great time in this place.
