All staff absolutely super friendly and helpful. We were met by Luca who hosted us throughout our stay and we were warmly welcomed into the Emerald Bay family. Luca took us out on the boat (dhow) each day to the amazing pristine white sand banks and turquoise warm sea - totally magical and relaxing. Emerald Bay is truly a genuinely special place, out of the tourist hot spots and absolutely in tune with nature and the location. We loved our stay. Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Each one is has a secluded location in the large garden and has direct access to the beach. Thank you so much for all. This place is a heaven on earth!

The location on the water front provides excellent opportunities for watching the dhows, fishing boats and ferries. Dennis our host is an excellent cook - his fresh grilled fish is superb - and we enjoyed his stories and lots of good conversation. Dennis and Suleiman will organise anything for you - diving, tours, pick ups, hospital visits! A very easy and enjoyable place to spend a few days.

This 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel features family rooms. Clean room. They made cleaning and changed towels after one day, varied breakfast. Staff very nice and also arranged taxi to airport.

The food was also excellent, with delicious fresh fish dishes. We also dived with Pemba dive centre who are on site and can very highly recommend them.
