Situated less than 15 km from Ayers Rock, The Lost Camel Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace. Room was simple, but spotless. Swimming pool was a wonderful spot to cool off after long hikes in 30+ temperatures. Location was terrific… right beside the “town square” with access to cafes, a grocery store, souvenir stores and a place to book tours. We had stayed here on our first trip to Australia 12 years ago, and could not make a booking six years ago because of renovations. We were happy to return and not stay in one of the more expensive venues.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Emu Walk Apartments is situated in Ayers Rock. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The room was spacious, clean & very comfortable. It met all my expectations.

Desert Gardens Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, some with a private balcony or views of Ayers Rock (Uluru). Guests can unwind in the outdoor pool, or at the restaurant and bar. Lovely location on the resort.friendly staff

Outback Lodge offers dormitory accommodation with access to an outdoor swimming pool and a shared kitchen. Free return transfers to and from Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru, Connellan Airport) are included.... This was a fantastic base for a few days. The facilities were excellent. The toilets and shower areas were spotlessly clean. It was a little chilly however! The team here are wonderful and we're so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young man from Ireland at reception. He was so kind, friendly and accommodating. He provided me with a hairdryer from the reception desk. Tip - Free laundry facilties are available which was very welcome as (understandably) everything gets covered in red sand after hiking! Wasing powder packs are available at reception for 3.50. The Outback Kiosk serves great salads daily if you are looking for a healthy snack. Breakfast is tasty at the Brough Restaurant. You can also have breakfast at any of the other hotel restaurant. No booking is needed and you can pay on arrival. The Desert Gardens offers a sensational breakfast.

Ideally situated for those who want to enjoy all that Uluru, Ayers Rock, has to offer, Outback Hotel offers an on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available. Helpful staff. Lovely pool area. Comfortable beds and room. Great location.
