Everything was brand new and beautiful. Marco built the cabin by himself and he put on a lot of nice finishing touches. Marco was an exceptionally nice host. He brought me fresh eggs from his hen and he even took me to the airport. He was always smiling and willing to help.

    I slept in Balmaceda the night before my departure from the airport the next morning. It is a town with nothing to see and no dependable resources other than the airport, whose facilities are available during limited hours, only. The auto rental in the airport is excellent, however. Europcar gave me the kind of car needed for safe travel in this isolated region.
