Thank you so much - José was extremely helpful, especially when we had problems with immigration. This made all the difference to us after a long boat trip. He also arranged transfers. THANK you!

Location and views across the Beagle Channel. Also close to boat if arriving in the middle of the night. Arturo has created a warm environment and we enjoyed meeting the other hostel stayers. One big family. Emma a delight too. Very flexible.

I highly recommend staying in this beautiful place. The hosts are super welcoming, communication was excellent from the beginning. They picked me up in the middle of the night from the ferry, fire already lit and the hut cozy and warm. Whenever they went to a trip they would offer me to join or helped me with transportation whereever I wanted to go. Two times I had dinner with them and the food was super delicious and fresh and we had nice conversations though my Spanish is very little, but translator helped ;) It`s a calm and peaceful place with beautiful view onto the Beagle Canal and Argentinia`s mountains and lovely free raoming horses are your neighbors. You can easily walk to the nearby waterfalls and the botanical garden. The town centre is a bit further, but still walkable. Otherwise there would alwas be someone to give you a lift. I was happily surprised, that there was WI-FI. It was not always working super fast, but was good enough to plan my further travels and sometimes would even work for videos etc. and will probably improve in future. I stayed four days and wished I had not booked my flight in advance so I could have stayed longer. For the ones who are worried about keeping the fire going: Arturo would always come to help, but there was also a gas stove to bridge some time without the wood stove.

Very friendly, open and helpful owners Jorge and Constanza.
And lovely pets Benito and Tomaso.
The breakfast is rich and the beef and the salmon were delicious - fantastic dinner.
The view from the dining hall is amazing.
The hot tub is excellent after a long trekking.
Perfect place for relaxing.

Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming.
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed.
I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things.
Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful.
However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit.
All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size.
Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint.
The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.
