Yard games in the cupboard, and heater in the patio. Birds were common and close (including Ptarmigan), and foxes could be found a short drive away at the right time of day. Close to whale watching and scenic sights in Myvatn. Bilberry growing in the yard in the right season.

Laxhús is situated in Laxamýri, 85 km from Akureyri. Free private parking is available on site. Husavik is 8 km away. All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Everything was as described. I loved the cabin :)

Located in a historic house in central Húsavík, Árból Guesthouse offers free parking and free WiFi access. Whale watching trips depart from Húsavik Port, only a 5-minute walk away. This was such a lovely stay. The house is absolutely lovely; it’s the embodiment of cosy. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the tiny touches throughout really made the stay magical. Also, the coffee was delicious.
