It is amazing how much you can squeeze into a small space. Amazing views and we parked the car and walked into town (half an hour), and to the puffin look out (2 hr hike). Host had provided coffee sachets, sugar and some biscuits. Takk!

Close to everything, with a nice kitchen with stovetop and oven. Staff was wonderful and stored our luggage while we explored and gave us tips on things to do and places to eat. We visited in March but in the summer the patio area would be great to use!

Breakfast was delicious. Dinner in restaurant was superb. Location was great - nice and accessible with easy walk to harbour. We were pleased we had rented a car to get around the island. The island laundry service was excellent - friendly, helpful and good value.

Situated in Vestmannaeyjar, 1.2 km from Gjábakkafjara Beach, Lava Guesthouse has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Very cozy place with a very good kitchen, where you can prepare your own meal. This guesthouse is located right in the center of the town, so all the shops were very close by. Our room was very clean and mattress was fine, not too soft neither too hard. Shared bathroom actually was not the only one, but plenty of them on the second floor and on the first floor, shower is clean and good, with different new towels on the shelves, clear sanitary rules. We don’t watch tv, but this one was equipped with a streaming platform, so most probably if you need to watch anything you will find something. Very helpful generous Icelanders working and running this place, we could get to know many interesting things about an island and town and got a guided ride to the lighthouse when the weather could be getting harsh. Thank you!

Situated in Vestmannaeyjar and within 1.2 km of Gjábakkafjara Beach, Blue Hostel Bláu Fjöll has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The pod was actually delightful with air conditioning and charging ports along with a tv. It also had storage lockers for me so I can have as much space as possible. The hostess was genuine and kind. She helped me out through the entire process and even recommended several spots to visit. It was smooth and comfortable.
