Welcoming family, they showed us and presented a small museum they have built about the postman profession in Iceland (their grandfather was a postman). Lovely experience chatting with them and getting to know the Icelandic culture and history.

Malgré ça le lodge est tout à fait accessible via une piste en très bonne état, praticable même pour les voitures citadines. (Séjour en mai) Logement tout confort , salle commune et cuisine bien équipées. Barbecue à gaz à disposition qui nous a été bien pratique.

We enjoyed every minute in this wonderful house. It is so comfortable, so cosy, so well arranged and fully equipped. We loved the comfortable beds, the beautiful living room , the warm kitchen with a lot of cooking stuff ( including spices & coffee), the bathroom, and the views on the countryside. It was raining so we could not use the terrace, unfortunately. Also it was very touching to read the history of the house , indeed this place has a soul. A special &warm thanks to Tinna for letting us stay in this relaxing place.

Logement très bien situé, non loin de la route 1 ainsi que d'une petite ville. Le tout donnant sur un canyon de l'autre côté de la route ! C'est un endroit paisible et calme coupé de tout. Nous avons eu la chance d'en profiter seuls au mois de Février. Les chambres sont très confortables, les parties communes sont très bien équipées et spacieuses.

The house is nicely furnished, well-kept and clean. We spent a nice night there and, well-rested, we set off on our journey.

We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
