Our family of 7 rented the entire deluxe villa, which was comfortable - a good balance of shared and private living spaces. The villa had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine, drying racks, espresso machine, and AC in every room, including the living room. The 2 bathrooms were perfect for our large group. The host was helpful in connecting us with a local tour company for a guided tour around Flores and a day trip to Corvo. We will stay here again on future trips to Flores.

The host was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Our flight back was cancelled and she welcomed us to stay one more night. Would highly recommend!

The place is clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and decorated. Vera welcomed us with some local products to discover. The location is ideal, close to the sea and the airport.

Located in Santa Cruz das Flores in the Flores Island region, Abrigo do Farol features a patio and sea views. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area. First things first. It is close to the airport. 15-ish minutes on foot. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!
