We needed an immediate place to stay at Midnight after landing in CM and had a problem. They responded right away, told us it was no problem and we zipped over. Clean, and decent beds. That’s all we needed. We were gone by 10 am. Thank you for accommodating us at the last minute. I wouldn’t stay here for a vacation. It’s very very basic and in a terrible location. But again, fit my specific needs.

I will stay there again. for the price 1650 baht/night for 3 beds, its reasonable, but plz add coffee and tea in the room. we can make coffee directly after shower.

Kiang and her husband Tee embody everything good about Thai hospitality and efficiency. My brother and I unfortunately only had one night we could stay with them because we were meeting up with my brother's family and they had already made reservations the following nights at another guest house. We chose 188 Teak House because it was close to the airport and we needed to pick up his family the following day. We arrived late, around 8:30 pm and had arranged for a transfer. To our surprise, it was Kiang herself who picked us up. It was Saturday night and Kiang offered to take us to the Saturday night market, which is a short 5-minute drive away. She then offered to pick us up when the market closed around 11pm. The next morning she offered to and then made a delicious breakfast for us with eggs, ham, sausage, toast, fruit, tea and coffee, and the guest house does normally not serve breakfast. She then drove us to the airport so we could pick up my brother's family. The only thing she wanted to charge us for was the initial transfer and we had to insist in paying her extra for the other rides and breakfast, but she gave us a big discount and didn't want us to pay her at all for breakfast. I hesitate in mentioning this in this review because other travelers may expect the same treatment and I didn't want to place Kiang and Tee in an uncomfortable situation. All I can say is, please do not take advantage of their warm hospitality and do pay them a fair price if they offer to go beyond what is included in the reservation. As for the guest house, the pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful two-story teak guest house and is practically brand new. Everything was spotless, the beds and pillows very comfortable, the air conditioner worked flawlessly and the bathroom large and very modern with an excellent hot water shower, and the room opened up to a large balcony over-looking a koi pond where we had our delicious breakfast.

Nous avons choisit cet hostel car très proche de l'aéroport et à un prix très abordable. L'aéroport est à 20 minutes à pied et 5 minutes en taxi. Nous avons pris un Grab pour 130 baths. La chambre était spacieuse et le wifi excellent. Belle salle de bain avec eau chaude. Une cuisine avec microonde est à disposition des hôtes. Il n'y avait personne pour le check in. Il nous a fallu appeler, puis communiquer par WhatsApp pour récupérer les clés et connaître la localisation de notre chambre qui se trouvait dans un bâtiment annexe. Cela n'a pas été un problème pour nous mais ce peut être stressant pour des personnes parlant peu anglais, ou qui n'ont pas de forfait mobile.

This is a good location to depart / arrive airport. The room has everything you need but is very small. Fine for one night. The mattress was very firm but was ok and I slept well.
