It took 1h on a beautiful boat ride to arrive. That was part of the magical. We saw Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds and an unforgettable sunset. I belive that no other camps or resorts are located inside the park. The team was excellent and the food was very, very good. We had dinner right bellow a sky full of stars. The next day we went with the team to visit the falls (on the opposite side where the tourists usually see them).

Proposant un jardin et un bar, l’établissement Red Chilli Rest Camp se situe à Murchison Falls National Park, à 35 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. This was a great camp with a good atmosphere and wonderful rooms. We stayed in a family room which had 4 beds, shower and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with superbly clean linen, the room was huge, and there were really high quality mosquito nets around every bed. The room had a terrace area on the front with rattan furniture, and the choice to have limited power to the rooms after a certain hour meant that we could really enjoy the sky full of stars - a rare treat for those of us from light-polluted Europe. The camp was open to passing wildlife and the kids really enjoyed having warthogs and baboons passing through. On top of all of this the camp offered giant portions of food at mealtimes and provided packed breakfast if you wanted to go out early. We really enjoyed everything about our stay, and it was really excellent value for money.

The setting is peaceful and relaxing, with lovely small villages nearby. The welcome was truly warm, and the meals were excellent. A great nature stopover we highly recommend!
