With the price I would say it was a good stay. Cheaper than you could find in SF with free parking. Trust me you would want the free parking if you drive here. The room is fairly clean and could use some reno in the future like repainting but overall I will recommend it

the staff was very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. 10 minutes away from the Oakland arena which was perfect for our trip.

Located 5 minutes’ walk to University of California Berkeley, this historic Berkeley, California hotel is elegantly kept. An indoor swimming pool with high ceilings and big windows is featured.

Architecturally stunning, if you like 1920's Julia Morgan style. Large beautiful public rooms filled with books, even a working area with tables and free coffee, and a grand piano. Beautiful breakfast room with white table clothes and very nice pastries. An amazing ~75 ft long pool which was nearly empty in the early evening. My room had a beautiful view of the Berkeley hills. Thick towels, nice linen. Very helpful and friendly staff.
