Right in the center of Kyoto, also in the traditional neighbourhood so you can easily walk out of the hotel exploring various Japanese culture and food. The hotel itself is of strong Japanese style and it’s really clean, bright and spacious. The staff are very welcoming. Also we enjoy the indoor bath there. Defo an amazing place to stay.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. It’s a very old Ryokan but it is well maintained. It has its own public bath so you get to experience it without an added cost and it is very convenient. Our room had its own bath too. The dinner was very good, every dish served was good. The Japanese lady who served us was very kind and attentive. I also liked the garden view from the room. The train station is nearby.

Hotel K6 Osaka Namba Shinsaibashi Near Dotonbori (former Balian Namba Dotonbori) is conveniently located only a 3-minute walk from Namba Station. Friendly and helpful staff, a great location, clean, good sized rooms made the style in Osaka very enjoyable. It was a great base from which to explore wider Osaka, and the many food options nearby. I will be back!

城崎温泉 旅館 つばき乃 - Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Tsubakino in Toyooka features 3-star accommodation with an open-air bath and a garden. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, very delicious.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Terrace Hachijo PREMIER is conveniently situated in the centre of Kyoto, and provides a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. Very clean and spacious! Cleaners provided towels and toiletry daily. Great location close to Kyoto station. Staff are very friendly and free drinks are appreciated!

Just a 3-minute walk from Seishin-chuo Station, Kobe Seishin Oriental Hotel offers accommodation in Kobe. There is free WiFi in all rooms and the hotel houses an on-site fitness club. Definitely a highlight of my trip

Offering panoramic bay and airport views, Star Gate Hotel occupies the upper floors of a high-rise tower. It features 6 restaurants. The hotel is a 5-minute train ride from the airport. Very convenient and easy access via train from Kansai Airport and other Osaka destinations. Great location, near malls and outlet and convenient stores. Nice and tidy room, with ocean view.

Hotel Okura Kobe is located on the waterfront, 500 metres from the Motomachi shopping area. Featuring Western-style rooms with free WiFi access, the hotel offers 6 dining options. Exceptionally-well on everything and truly helpful and polite staff!!
