Open from September 2017, The Celestine Kyoto Gion is set in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station. Guests can walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in 15 minutes from the property. Very nice and cozy hotel to stay in Kyoto. Very conveniently located to get to all the important places. Onsen is beyond praise - a super feature after long walks around the city. The restaurant is very tasty, and the staff does their job perfectly.

The hotel itself is of strong Japanese style and it’s really clean, bright and spacious. The staff are very welcoming. Also we enjoy the indoor bath there. Defo an amazing place to stay.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. It’s a very old Ryokan but it is well maintained. It has its own public bath so you get to experience it without an added cost and it is very convenient. Our room had its own bath too. The dinner was very good, every dish served was good. The Japanese lady who served us was very kind and attentive. I also liked the garden view from the room. The train station is nearby.

Located in the Higashiyama area and directly next to Chion-in Temple grounds, Chion-in Wajun Kaikan offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and kind. Beds comfortable, elegant feel, great amenities. Coffee shop on lobby level has espresso and plant based milks. There is a beautiful communal bath (not mixed). It’s in the mountains, lots of nature, but only a few feet away from the amazing shopping streets like NininZaka. And only 2 blocks to the bus and public transport. Nice clean bathroom, shower and bathtub in the rooms, beautiful decor.

Kyoto Almont Hotel offers modern accommodations with free wired internet. Hachijo East Exit of JR Kyoto Train Station is only a 5-minute walk away. Very nice and spacious room, the biggest during our stay in Japan. Quite friendly staff and very nice facilities to relax or work!

Receiving 3 black pavilions for five consecutive years on the 2014 to 2018 Michelin Guides, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto is a 3-minute walk from Exit 5 of Shijo Subway Station. Excellent service and attitude Room spotless Great view All our requests were met by the hotel, pure pleasure. All of the staff was very friendly and happy to help on each question we had. We would like to mention specifically Siyama-san (the concierge) that helped us in the most friendly and professional way with the shipment of our luggage to Tokyo.
