The location is good. Usually book a well known chain but they have become very expensive and are getting tired. This hotel was a good choice as an alternative

Beautiful room and excellent breakfast. Also free entry to an amazing garden with Japanese influence. Highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was excellent with good choice of freshly cooked local produce. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Really liked the free EV car charging capabilities - very modern concept and much appreciated.

Great facility and lovely placement, comfy bed don’t be put off by the fold out bed it’s more comfy than any hotel with a normal bed. Isobel was lovely and left us wine and cheese for our stay which just added to the experience. This is far better than any big chain hotel and I will be staying here again next time I visit Holmfirth.

We had the huge master bedroom with separate huge bathroom so it was a real treat to be able to spread out after our earlier accommodation. Also the small fridge provided was great. The Japanese garden setting was lovely y6
