The staff was professional and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The food was amazing. The whisky list is one of the best I have ever seen (many good Japanese whiskies too). They helped me arrange a taxi to the Macallan and back.

Overall ambiance of the hotel and the quality of the breakfast. Enjoyed the surroundings and the gardens, particularly the Japanese Garden. The hotel museum was very interesting.

The glamping pod was private, in a beautiful spot overlooking the Scottish mountains and countryside at sunset! the pod itself was clean and comfortable. We made use of the pizza oven, fire pit and the Japanese style hot tub during our stay, which made it magical and different. I had booked for the birthday package as a surprise for my boyfriend and was delighted with what that came with☺️

Nothing. I paid £558 on Saturday night. Stayed one night. Had to leave it was so bad. Rooms minimalistic, clinically cold. No personality. Miles from anything. Did not get refunded for the 3 nights from booking. BE VERY CAREFUL When booking. Totally overpriced. Japanese model if pid style etc. Why?? Never ever again. Will warn everyone never to stay here.

the pool and the jacuzzi was amazing, we enjoyed the whole pool to ourselves, the Japanese, filipino staff were very friendly , nice & helpful.
