When we realised that this was part of the Britannia Hotel chain we were vary dubious. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. It was not at all shabby. Room was good, spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful. Everybody in the party enjoyed their stay.

Basic but value chain hotel with pleasant staff

Excellent value hotel - clean room, private and very comfortable and quiet. Went above and beyond to facilitate my late arrival, which was much appreciated. Great night's sleep. Would definitely book again. The world needs more traditional, independent hotels like this, rather than faceless chain brands.

Owner never gave me on to release key so never got to use apattment

Every time I go to Bradford I stay here and everytime I have a good experience. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with bath and good breakfast in the morning. Private parking lot with cameras and places where I could chain my motorbike to something.

The room was clean but not sterile like a chain hotel. It was cosy and offered the chance to have somewhere to actually relax and unwind as opposed to just a room to sleep in. The host gave frequent updates as the date of the stay came near that gave clear instructions on access. A couple of drinks in the fridge was a lovely and unexpected gesture.

The owners had thought of everything that we needed and added nice touches. Great location for us to hike from with our dog. Marsden had good shops and pubs. Nearby craft brewery (Zapato) was great!
