The combination af surroundings, facilities, service and quality will be a hard match anywhere. However, my bet is that you will be even harder pressed to find a match to the ever present host Peter, no matter where you look. He and his crew takes such great pride in your stay being perfect, in a way I have not met anywhere else. The perfect combination of personnal and professional. My only hesitation when recommending Alpenglühn, is the fact that I would like to keep it a secret, to make sure there will still be room for me…

Beautifull pension situated to excellent location close amazing mountains all arround and great helpful owners. Comfortable and clean rooms in Bavarian style with breathtaking mountain views. Big benefit is Ski resort Götschen (around 1km) near pension.

The hosts were very friendly, warm and welcoming people. The house itself was comfortable as well, even while it was hot outside. It's on a quiet road, but still centrally located as the centre of Berchtesgaden can be reached by car in only a few minutes. The house came well equipped and there is a secluded outside area in front of the accommodation which offers a nice place to have breakfast or dinner. We travelled with a 1-year old child, so having a quiet place to sit outside is something we appreciated a lot. Overall, the accommodation offers incredible value for money since it's not very expensive and the Berchtesgaden area is just lovely. The images on Booking give a good impression of what the house is like.

Relatively small space but very judiciously arranged. Very clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom, large balcony overlooking the park, very quiet. Excellent breakfast, very kind staff, civilized atmosphere.

The family-run Villa Steiermark in Bad Reichenhall offers fully equipped rooms and apartments. It is a 3-minute walk from the Rupertustherme spa. The town center is just a 10-minute walk away.

Very nice breakfast. They also made an effort to have gluten free options. The staff is very involved and keen on making the guests feel welcomed and satisfied.

We rented one studio and one bedroom apartment on the first floor in this lovely house in Inzel. Spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large balcony, sunbeds and even a table where you can eat, with a view of the beautiful mountains. Perfect hosts. Inzel is a cute little village, from which in 30-40 minutes by car you can reach Salzburg, Chiemsee lifts to the Alps. Next to the hotel there is a wonderful Maximilian restaurant, the best of our entire stay in Germany. Don't order schnitzel, but try the ones recommended by the chef, and you won't go wrong!
