This property looks as good as the photos and exceeded our expectations with the attention to detail. Firstly, our host Eka was very responsive to our communications and queries. Highly professional and super friendly staff. The beautiful, indoor/outdoor living space was outstanding in design and provided complete privacy between other residents. Great size pool with views overlooking the natural jungle setting. Very spacious open plan room with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area and full kitchen. Loved the full-size fridge which is rare in any rented apartment. The water filter was a bonus allowing us to refill our own bottles and save on plastic bottle waste. Loved the garden atrium next to the shower, sunlounges, comfortable bed and pillows, umbrellas provided for wet weather. Great cafe next door and Mini Mart across the road.

Staying with kids usually means tearing hair out—but ONYX made things almost too easy. There's a playground and an indoor play area, plus multiple pools (including kid‑friendly zones) that kept the little ones busy all day . Room’s comfy, kitchenette was a lifesaver for midnight snacks, and breakfast variety? Buffets with Asian, halal, Italian—kidpleasers all around . Location’s peaceful, tucked in Tegallalang, yet Ubud center and top sights like the Palace and Monkey Forest are super close—under 2 miles . Staff were helpful with stroller directions and taxi calls. Good for fams who want a lush, calm base with clever kid‑friendly touches.

Gorgeous room. Everything was amazing. Small store only 3 minute walk, great Warung 5 minutes away. Mama's Warung, amazing food and very reasonable price. Nice restaurant 5 minutes walk, Genio, great food. Everything about this place was top notch. If I had one comment, the street is a little worn down and off the beaten path, which we liked as it was very quiet and peaceful there. Some might find it a long walk to things, but don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely stay there again, just letting you know in case you want to be in the middle of the mayhem. We just took gojek everywhere, most we ever paid was $4 US to get to everything we needed, and it was there to pick us up usually in under 2 minutes. If you're willing to hop on the back of a scooter the price was $1.50. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Pictures matched room exactly. Enjoy!

The manager of the hotel is amazing. He was great with our daughter (brought her painting books and stickers) and gave us fresh coconuts every day. He was also very helpful in organizing a helmet and child seat when renting a scooter. Our room was very big. The private pool was just amazing! We really loved everything about it, extended twice and would have stayed even longer had it not been fully booked by the time we wanted to extend for a third time

Wonderful experience. It was exactly what I hoped for. Peaceful and a bit away from the rush yet perfectly located between some of my favorite restaurants. This is not your average conventional hotel experience but if you want peace, overload of nature, open scenic djungle views woth the sound of birds, geckos and a river it is perfect. The house healer cat Isida is a great bonus too! She went in and out of my room as she liked and I loved it. I loved the wednesday kriya yoga sessions with Irina as well. The interior is beautiful too. Its a heartfelt experienxe so if you are looking for that this is a match made in Ubud!

This place is fantastic! Ten minute scooter ride away from central Ubud, very peaceful location among rice fields. Room was spacious and clean with bright LED lights, there was a work table in the room, bed was very comfortable, the small kitchen was great for cooking breakfast, bathroom was big and clean. The small pool outside was clean and very nice for a dip on hot days. Owner is very nice. Perfect value for money. I did yoga a 5 minute ride away so I ended up staying at this place for 5 weeks. There was a beautiful cat who came around and I ended up feeding daily, I named her Miss Meowski because she was always meowing when she came around for food and neck rubs. Highly recommended 👍🏻
