Amazing stay. Comfortable bed. Nice furniture. Cute sauna. Staff is very nice and welcoming. I will come back. Some things that are not necessary in my opinion are: The blue lights in front of the hotel. It’s a bit agressive on the eyes. The stickers on the plugs that’s shows the voltage. Not aesthetically pleasant. The soap that smells like chemical. I think there’s a lot of natural options nowadays and it will match more the vibe of the place.

Amadeus Residence is a beautiful new building in Bucharest, within walking distance from the city centre. The street (Thomas Masaryk) is not very nice, but the residence itself is immaculate. I booked a studio apartment, with a small kitchen (including a glass-top stove, microwave, fridge, utensils, electric kettle) and a beautiful large bathroom. The apartment had two balconies, two single beds, a TV, a dining table, a wardrobe, and another smaller table. Everything was pristinely clean and the apartment smelled very nice. The staff were kind and helpful. There's 24-hour security at the entrance.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Matisse Bucharest Old Town and I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by the incredible staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The level of hospitality here is unmatched. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who ensured our room was immaculate but mostly to the front desk team, Bogan and Alice, who welcomed us with smiles, and offered thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, updated our rooms without extra charge (just because they could) and safeguarded our luggage until we returned from a 3 days trip abroad! Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The hotel itself is beautiful, classy with modern amenities, and a cosy, inviting atmosphere, exactly at the centre of the Old Town. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff made us feel like valued guests, not just a room number. They anticipated all of our needs. It’s these personal touches that make all the difference. Kindness and professionalism like Bogan's and Alice's were truly outstanding and made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury, comfort, and exceptional service, look no further. The staff at Matisse Bucharest Old Town are the heart and soul of this establishment, and they made our stay an absolute delight. We can't wait to return, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and positive experience.

A fantastic stay at this newly opened hotel in Bucharest! Everything is brand new, stylish, and spotless. The room was spacious and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a modern, well-equipped bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Great central location, close to everything, but still peaceful. Perfect choice for both business and leisure. I’ll definitely return!

Very clean; very comfortable mattress, slept like a baby. Even though I had a room with street view (a very heavy traffic boulevard) the noise was gone once you shut down the windows.

    A former hotel that now styles itself as more of an ‘apartment hotel’ but was absolutely fine for my two night stay. Quiet, clean, decent WiFi, nice little pool, and I had a good cooked breakfast+coffee+buffet both mornings for €10 pp I think it was. Very central. Happy to recommend. The only difference with a normal hotel is that I think you don’t have daily room service, and reception downstairs is a little more basic (but still staffed), but you do have access to a laundry room which is useful.

    Large modern apartment, well appointed, with sufficient self-catering facilities if you wanted to eat in. Relatively quiet location with shops/restaurants etc. nearby. Spacious balcony not overlooked. Check in and check out was all relatively easy even although we arrived after midnight due to a 4 hour delayed flight. I WhatsApp'd a contact several times and receive full responses very quickly.
