The place was nice, cozy and clean. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette, a sofa, a dining table and a balcony. The breakfast was of high quality and had excellent variety. The staff was welcoming and we were able to leave some of the luggage there until we returned from the mountains.

A brand-new boutique hotel in a small village, 5 minutes’ drive from lake Bohinj on the main road to Bled. It is by the road but very quiet inside due to perfect insulation. All facilities are modern, the rooms and kitchen are spacious with many electric sockets and the interior design is user friendly. We stayed in the ground floor so we had our two sitting areas by the garden (side and back with mountains view). The parking in front of the house is large. We were lucky to be welcomed by Alex, the charming owner with champagne and delicious homemade beer.

Apartments Gaja are located in the centre of Bled and are well known for their convenience, ultimate comfort, tranquility and close proximity to local services. The property provides free WiFi access....

We loved our stay at Aparthotel Gaja. Our apartment was big enough, we had a separate bedroom and the kitchen had practically everything you need. It had floor heating so it was really warm and our baby was able to crawl and spend time on the floor without catching a cold. There was also a smart TV in the living room so it was possible to watch Netflix or something else. Location was perfect, 5 minutes walking from the lake. The best part of our stay was breakfast. They bring breakfast to your apartman and serve it on your kitchen table. There were two types of cereals, toasted sandwiches, sausages, small hot dogs, boiled and scrambled eggs, salami and cheese slices, croissants, smoothie, apples. A little bit of everything. 😁 Also, they have an arrangement with a nearby restaurant and their guests can eat there a three-course meal for 20 euros, which is great if you are on a budget.

A lovely building, brand new. Great view across the fields to the castle. A bonus occasional train passing: I love trains. Recommended, outside the hubbub of Bled proper.

I had a room that was much like a hotel room. However, there was a very well-appointed communal kitchen with lots of facilities and places to relax. As I was only staying one night, I didn't need to use this. There was a supermarket and very good Pizzeria about 30m away. I had breakfast in the morning for an extra €10 and it was good value for money. Having said that, there was free coffee available in the communal kitchen and every facility to make breakfast there at no extra cost. The owners made a big effort to make everything comfortable and to meet my needs. This is a convenient place to stay on the Juliana Trail.
