VAYA Gerlos was a very pleasant surprise for us. First, we were very warmly received at the reception, we received very useful information about the area and the activities and we had a Summer Card for several touristic attractions. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need, including coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, etc. The area is superb. We had daily activities, like trips by motorcycle (in Gerlos area and also in Bavaria), going up the mountain by gondola, going to the Krimml waterfall (the biggest waterfall in Europe) and so on. At 5 minutes walking distance, there is a supermarket SPAR and there are several nice restaurants. The location has also a sauna where you can relax in the afternoon. For us is was perfect in many aspects. We will stay at Vaya for sure when we will be back in this area.

Perfect size for our group of 5 people, we all had a comfortable bed, bathrooms were all modern and clean with good showers, and there was a modern fully equipped kitchen with dining area. There was a nice pool and sauna area that was well maintained with great views of the mountains. Ski bus stop was right outside so no issues with staying a bit out of town. Host was friendly and helpful and even left a selection of drinks and snacks for us upon arrival. No complaints at all, would highly recommend.
