Then, the location, in a really authentic neighbourhood, the West Bank have a great atmosphere, friendly people and really close from the touristy hub without the hassle of the big city.

Excellent staff, superb amenities - sunny terrace with swimming pool where you can lounge as you rest from sightseeing ... it's in a quiet part of the village but just about 15 minutes of lovely walk in nature from the port where you can get a public ferry from and to East Bank Luxor (for which be prepared to pay anything from 20EGP to 100EGP as price depends on the guard and how naive you look!) The entire staff team is very friendly and makes you feel like family. Delicious breakfast and a variety of tours you can book. Search no more and book!

There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the pool and river. Hamdy came directly to pick us up from GoBus station and brought us to Mama Africa, where we spent 4 nights (initially it was 1) in a very quiet area. He and his family hosted us wonderfully, providing a big room on the 2nd floor with comfy double beds, a beautiful view of the Nile river and huge, tasty breakfasts. Beans, omelette, soup, cow cheese, fruit, pita bread, every day something was slightly different but very delicious and fulfilling (I normally eat a lot, but with their breakfast I was ok until dinner). Moreover, Hamdi helped us with our trip, organising transports and the best places to visit, even a plan from Luxor to Aswan and the transport Aswan - Abu Simbel, all at a fair price. He cares a lot for his guests thus he does his best to satisfy them, depending on their needs and priorities. Therefore, our stay in Mama Africa surrounded by Hamdi and his family makes our visit to Luxor amazing!!! If I come back in Luxor, for sure this place will be my choice!
