The flat was well equipped, with new facilities and plenty of space. The residence was clean and bright. Friendly staff. As it's a residence for retired people, it was nice and quiet! Lovely big swimming pool too. It's easy to drive into town, but would be a bit long to walk back up the hill.

Sancy Resort offers self-catering accommodation located in Chambon-sur-Lac in the Auvergne region, 6 km from the lake. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas. Location is outstanding, we came back here partly because of the views. The staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. We love the charcuterie there. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection. Our room was clean, a proper shower, not a bath and the bed was comfortable. Balcony had amazing views.

Résidence Wilson offers non-smoking studios with mountain views with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. It is 4.5 km from the ski slopes and 100 metres from the free shuttle services to the ski slopes. Quiet location but very near to restaurants and shops, which is what we like. Easy to get to the main roads by car leading to the nordic ski stations. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Room was a nice size. The shower was hot and had good pressure. Bed (160cm wide) was comfortable. We did not use the kitchen much except to prepare breakfast. We would stay there again.
