The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The Villa is located pretty far away from Tuscan towns, people, up on the hill - which is perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. You can enjoy your morning coffee with a fresh cornetto, then sunbathe and swim in the pool which is of appropriate size. No crowds in common areas, just a bunch of families and couples enjoying their peaceful vacations. The Villa is located a 30 minute drive from nearest towns which are full of great restaurant and cafes. On Saturday we were offered dinner cooked by the owner, it was delicious and we highly recommend this experience. Location is great for people wanting to unwind and visit a couple of Tuscan towns. Not that great for somebody wanting to sightsee all of them. There are multiple rest areas through the villa and its gardens, you can find a nice spot anywhere you’d like.

Very newly updated, very clean and well designed. Thoughtful touches like an above average breakfast. Very friendly owners. Willing to make sure your stay meets your needs. Will come back. Surrounded by vineyards in the Chianti hills, La Compagnia del Chianti is just otuside the medieval village of San Donato in Poggio. It features a summer swimming pool, BBQ and wood-burning oven for pizza.

Offering air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, the apartments have traditional Tuscan decor with terracotta floors and exposed stone. The kitchenette includes a dishwasher and coffee machine. This was absolutely an amazing experience. San Donato is so charming and the people are so welcoming. We went to the coop, pharmacy, cafe, restaurants and shops! This is an easy location to drive and experience nearby Chianti towns. Giada was the wonderful host and communicated readily anytime we needed anything via WhatsApp. She gave us a tour of the property with its garden and pool. The terrace to our apartment was spectacular! We enjoyed relaxing there and enjoying the views. The property was clean with nice A/c and Wi-Fi. The kitchen was well stocked and we went to the coop and bought some local items and actually cooked a home meal one evening so we could stay and enjoy the views. Giada gave some great tips on nearby restaurants and places to go in the region. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful home and hope to be back someday!

Our stay was wonderful! The staff were so friendly and were always so kind to us and especially our little boy. The pool was perfect, the apartment was gorgeous and the bbq night was so fun!

It means you can get up when you feel like it. This was great for me.
