Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them! Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds. The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

These beachfront apartments are located on the Alentejo's Coast in Vila Nova de Milfontes. All apartments have a private balcony or terrace, free Wi-Fi access and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was excellent; just a short walk to the beach and to the town. The apartment was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. We really enjoyed being there off season!

Porto Covo is an eco-friendly hotel in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park . It has an outdoor pool with a poolside bar and a hydromassage, and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. Rooms were spacious and staff were very nice.

The guest house is superbly located within the city walls and right above a pastelería! The main square is a short stroll away where you will find an underground car park or free street parking behind the church. The facilities are simple and very comfortable. Our apartment was incredibly clean and obviously very well cared for. Susana was a wonderful host who was attentive to our needs, was always on hand, and was very forgiving when we broke the cafeteira. We were lucky enough to have use of the terrace which really added to our experience. As for Elvas itself - it is a historic town full of charm and warm, polite, friendly locals. We absolutely loved it and I definitely hope to return!
