The room exceeded all our highest expectations. It was incredibly cozy and comfortable. The bed, kitchen amenities, refrigerator, and the extremely welcoming atmosphere made our stay unique and unforgettable! We received the electronic key card from Stefanie, along with a tour and the Salzkammergut summer discount card! Ms. Stefanie was exceptionally kind and courteous. Our trip around the area was memorable for its stunning views and very convenient infrastructure. We will definitely return to this hotel, and I believe more than once!

The View deserves its name: a fantastic geniously built villa on the slopes over St. Wolfgang's lake. Functional apartments with breathtaking terraces and views, set in a way that each one's privacy is respected, no noise is heard. Even a lift takes you from the garage directly to your apartment.Inside every detail is thoroughly thought: huge windows from floor to ceiling, nice decorations, wood & metal as the main materials used. This is the 1st time we found a fully perfectly equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The owner- family lives on the site, assuring a discrete yet prompt and 24h available assistance.

Very friendly and willing host. The apartment is spacious, cozy, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the city center of St. Wolfgang, which is a magical place during December, especially with so much snow. Parking without problems. A broad selection of children's DVDs and board games was a nice bonus for our daughter.

We travelled with two young children (9 months old and 2.5 years old), the property provided with a high chair, changing matt and a sleeping cot which was all set-up before we checked-in. Property owner checked on us to make sure nothing was missing. Kitchen is fully equipped. Easy parking and access.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay in the Penthouse. The location is perfect: we took the bus from Salzburg and the walk to the apartment was short and easy, even with luggage. The apartment is large, well furnished with many antiques, and the kitchen is well-equipped. (There is a Spar within an easy walking distance of about 10 minutes with everything from toiletries to a cheese and meat counter and small bakery.) The photos in the booking.com listing are accurate – each window has a different view of beautiful Sankt Gilgen, with the best view being from the balcony and dining area. Michael is a super host and prompt communicator. Best cakes ever in Nannerls’ Café!

Nestled a little above St. Wolfgang is this wonderful gem of an apartment. Very, very clean, beautifully and functionally restored (it has been the family's home since 1763) it has all the amenities you could want. It is situated on the ground floor of a traditional house (the upper floor is where the host lives) and is 3 to 4 minutes away on foot from the center of the town (as you can see from the photos). The surrounding area is very quiet with nice upscale family homes. There's also a private parking space next to the property which needs a little getting used to (it's on an incline). We slept like babies and woke up to a beautiful Austrian morning. The host was very nice, respected our privacy and noticed and appreciated all the little things we did to thank her. On a side note 50 meters up the road, on the left and between other houses starts a trail that takes you to one of the most beautiful vistas over St. Wolfgang (easily reachable by anyone in under 10 minutes). If we ever come back to St. Wolfgang we will surely book this property again.

    Super clean and very new apartment. Great view. It is a very good place for vacation. Quiet and peaceful. Very relax atmosphere. Wide space in the unit. I will definitely recommend this place. The host is very nice. You can walk to the lake from the apartment.

    The location is incredible, very close to the lake and very beautiful surroundings. Lots of beautiful walks and spots along the edge of the lake to relax and have drinks. The apartment is comfortable and the beds were very good. We took public transport from Salzburg and the apartment is very easy to get to using the 150 bus. We came for the Mozart 100 trail race and it was perfect for our stay.

    We stayed at Haus Heimatblick for 3 nights. The views from the apartment are even better than on the photos. The apartment is clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the many cycling trails in the area.

    Stunning views, lovely beach, great value for money in Wolfgangsee. It's not modern but is functional, clean and comfortable. Great location. Easy flat walk to the bus stop, around 12 minutes, so works with public transport and a very useful ferry to St Wolfgang. Perfect location to explore the lake

    The view from the balcony over the field to the lake and mountains is wonderful. The lake is great for swimming and the private area by the lake was really appreciated. The apartment is modern, clean and well equiped. There is lots to do in the area. We wished we could have stayed longer.
